I agree that it is a wonderful bike. Mine is used daily for my nola commute (and for occasional longer trips). It’s like a road bike and a tank all in one.
I stumbled upon your blog tonight and it got me thinking. I wonder if you ever heard of a film, Bicycle dreams by Stephen Aurbach. It is an indie film on the most grueling race – The Race Across America. I would be happy to send you a copy of the film if you had an interest in watching it and reviewing it for your audience. The film won numerous awards in various film festivals and now we think it is due for as many reviews as possible by authors of our great sport. Please reach out to me if you have an interest. I like the combination of a bike/photo blog so very much. I’m a daily bike commuter in Manhattan with an insane ride (8.5 miles each way) and I hope you don’t mind if I steal your blog idea and transplant it. I’m always late to my job as a park ranger because I stop to photograph something interesting along the hudson; if I copycat you, at least I’ll have something beautiful to show for my tardiness.
Also, cool Long Haul Trucker! I nearly bought one this year, but held out for its ‘totally 80s’ cousin, the Panasonic Pro Touring. Anyway, just wanted to express my appreciation for your awesome blog!
