Halloween is tomorrow, and New Orleans is ready, I think. I was riding home from an evening out with friends and stopped by this house near Washington and Magazine. It is one of many decorated and ready for tomorrow, and I’m happy to live in a city that is so ready to enjoy the holiday. It does seem that New Orleans is ready to celebrate almost anything. It’s one of my favorite things about this place. I have loved Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, innumerable summer festies. But this is my first Halloween. I’m excited. I’m not going trick or treating, so I won’t be stopping by this house begging for candy, but I do plan to enjoy biking in costume with fellow bikers in costume. Stop by Jackson Square around 6:00 pm if you are in the neighborhood. I think this is going to be fun.
Nice as usual but I thought this was your second Halloween there; starting your job there the end of the summer of 07. Of course I could be wrong.
Loved the “house” and all the participants! Thanks.
