Police on Canal Street for Essence Fest
I’m still tired after a lot of bike riding yesterday and not enough water, but I decided to ride Rhoda down to the Treme and then to the French Quarter for cake and swimming with friends. Technical difficulties kept me from posting this blog yesterday, so this is technically what I saw yesterday, but here it is. Pox on you, internet outages! Oak Tree Roots on St. Charles
Today’s bike ride took me to yoga class. Jack’s big panniers easily carried yoga clothes, mat and towel, along with a book, locks, patch kit and pump, and leftover crap from past rides. This bike is seriously good for travel. Continue reading
Trains at Galvez and St. Ferdinand
I took Jack out for a ride this afternoon, and it felt so, so good. It was either a little bit cooler or I’ve acclimated, and that made biking around town much more pleasant. I planned to ride down to the Marigny hoping to find the bike shop open for a payday treat, but got sidetracked Uptown, watching a movie shoot. Continue reading
